Shocking: Twins Manager Ready to Bid Farewell to Odd Tradition due to…

The Boston Red Sox ended the Minnesota Twins’ 12-game winning run on Sunday, taking with them a fortunate charm that manager Rocco Baldelli is not sorry to see depart.

The Twins have been using a fortunate home run sausage, which players tap before stepping up to the plate, for the past week. Despite the very real chance that things could go very wrong, the offensive has been humming along, turning the sausage into something of a tradition.

Baldelli stated that he hoped the sausage was already disposed of following the Twins’ 9-2 loss. He did not, however, completely rule out the prospect that the group would devise a fresh one.

It could already be in the garbage. Where does it belong, really? Regarding the now-famous sausage, Baldelli remarked, “We can always get a new one.”

No matter how ridiculous it may sound, a baseball player in the middle of a 12-game winning streak is not going to part with a fortunate charm. Players will do almost anything to get hits, after all. Still, some people—including Baldelli—might not mind breaking this practice in the past.
