Danielle Collins is well-known for her incredible on-court demeanor, or “animal,” which allows her to express her emotions to everyone and not hold back when it comes to celebrating. As one found out at the Madrid Open, the same can be said when a fan irritates her.
Collins dropped the first set 6-3 and is now up against Jaqueline Cristian. She hasn’t lost many sets lately, but after coming back from her victories in Miami and Charleston, she has encountered some challenges from Olga Danilovic and now the Romanian. Even so, for the time being, her run is still very much intact.But Collins responded with a swift and elegant clap when someone in the audience cried out. “You emerge and engage in play. Please come out here and follow my lead. Show a little more decency,” the American remarked.
