Not A Good Way: Milan might use Abate and Ibrahimovic in place of Pioli as their caregivers.

In recent weeks, Stefano Pioli’s role at Milan has been under intense scrutiny, and there have been suggestions that the match against Newcastle will determine everything. Ignazio Abate and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are two possible replacements for him for the Rossoneri, according to a report.

After suffering a hard loss to Atalanta on Saturday night, Milan has now dropped four games in the league. With nine points more than rivals Inter in the standings, the Champions League journey may come to an end on Wednesday.

To put it briefly, the season has not started off well, and Pioli bears a great deal of the blame. A loss against could result in the manager being compelled to leave the team, according to La Repubblica, which Pieanetta Milan cited.

At that point, Milan would be prepared to swap Pioli out for Zlatan Ibrahimovic—whose comeback is already guaranteed—and Primavera manager Ignazio Abate. That would mean that the Swede would start off as a director/caretaker at Milan rather than a consultant to RedBird.

Abate and Ibrahimovic are great friends off the field and have known one other for a very long time—they played together at Milan in 2010. Given that the former has had great success with the Primavera team this season, it could be interesting to combine his strategies with Ibrahimovic’s background and mindset.
