This is absurd. but not really startling.

As everyone is aware, the Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs AFC Wild Card Round match was quite chilly. We have some intriguing updates from the Ice Bowl, starting with the news that 15 spectators who were at Arrowhead Stadium watching the game were admitted to the hospital due to hypothermia and frostbite symptoms.

According to a Kansas City Fire Department official, the department handled 69 hypothermia-related complaints at Arrowhead, FOX 4 KC reported.(RELATED: The Dallas Cowboys have officially decided to keep head coach Mike McCarthy until the 2024 season.)

Thirteen of them required treatment at a hospital—seven of them for hypothermia and three for frostbite.

And when you look at the NFL’s past, it becomes clear why. The game was the fourth coldest ever recorded, and it was the coldest ever at Arrowhead Stadium.

At kickoff, the temperature was around four degrees Fahrenheit, but the wind chill caused it to drop as low as thirty degrees.
