Joey Porter Jr. Reacts to Tyler Boyd of the Bengals Tearing Up the Steelers’ Brotherhood

In the lead-up to this weekend’s game between the Steelers and Bengals, Joey Porter Jr. added yet another chapter to the ongoing drama.

Following calls from both teammates and fans for Steelers receiver George Pickens’ failure to block a play during a game against the Colts, a back-and-forth began. Tyler Boyd, a receiver with the Bengals, chose to take aim at the team’s division foe, claiming it demonstrated a lack of unity in the Pittsburgh locker room.

Porter added his own commentary on the subject on Thursday. “He’d have no idea. Porter informed the media that “he’s not in the locker room.” “So his opinion really doesn’t matter.”

Boyd has fired rounds at the Steelers locker room on previous occasions. In 2021, following a 24–10 victory over Pittsburgh, Boyd criticised the Steelers for folding late in the contest.

Even though the teams have been exchanging insults for a few days, this week’s game between the Bengals and Steelers at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC will provide the teams a chance to settle their differences on the field.
