Shocking: Jason Kelce’s Retirement Journey Leads to Unexpected…

Jason Kelce, who spent more than ten years as a player for the Philadelphia Eagles, declared his retirement from the NFL last month. Although breaking up is difficult, Kelce has been enjoying some of his time off since then—so much so that he has continued to work out in the Eagles’ practice facilities. Kelce’s career after retirement is starting to take form now. ESPN reports that Kelce has been signed on to host Monday Night Countdown going forward. For Kelce, it represents a significant next step in his ascent into the TV industry. Over the years, he has made numerous appearances on NFL broadcasts. He even took part in the NFL Broadcasting and Media Workshop, formerly known as the “Broadcast Bootcamp,” last year. “All of this is unfamiliar to me. Regarding his on-air persona at the time, Kelce remarked, “I have even more respect for it now,” according to ESPN. “It’s very hard to do something live, react to a stimulus that just happened, and have something clever and meaningful to say.”

Earlier this year, Kelce acknowledged that he had aspirations of joining the Eagles in some capacity while reflecting on his career off the field. “I have no idea what the future holds for me. Regardless of the outcome, I do know that I still want to be a part of and participate in the [Eagles] organization. He stated to The Philadelphia Inquirer in January, “Because I don’t want to ever feel like I’m on the outside looking in on these accomplishments, these accolades, and these opportunities that largely represent entire cities, fan bases, and organizations.” “It’s too good a feeling to pass up.”
