Philadelphia Sports Icons Annual Sports Memorabilia Show in Ocean City

On Saturday, April 20 at the Ocean City Music Pier, the sixth annual Sports Memorabilia Show will feature former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Mike Quick and former Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Mark Howe. They will greet fans and facilitate Q&A sessions as part of the event.

At the expo, there will be vendors offering a range of sports and teams’ memorabilia and collectibles for sale. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and admission is free. There will be free parking on municipal lots at Moorlyn Terrace, Eighth Street, and Ninth Street, which are close to the Boardwalk.

Quick played for the Eagles for nine seasons, from 1982 to 1990, and was a five-time Pro Bowler. Today, he and Merrill Reese are most recognized for their roles as the Eagles’ radio voices.

Howe, a member of the Philadelphia Flyers Hall of Fame, is the son of NHL legend Gordie Howe. Throughout his lengthy hockey career, he played for the Flyers for ten seasons, ranking among the league’s top two-way defensemen during that time. Howe participated in three Stanley Cup finals and finished second three times for the Norris Trophy.

Howe and Quick will take part in open-forum Q&A sessions while performing on the Ocean City Music Pier stage. Additionally, they will be available for $20 to have one-on-one meet-and-greets with fans, during which time they will be able to sign autographs and take pictures with the Phillies.
