Such a Bad Character: On Sunday, the NFL barred Eagles security head Dom DiSandro from the sidelines.

It’s not a suspension, but it is still under review by the NFL so his absence from the sideline could be for more than one game.

Dom DiSandro will not be allowed to see the Eagles’ game against the Cowboys on Sunday night.

All of the other tasks he has for game day can be completed by the Eagles chief of security while traveling with the team.

However, following his fight with 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw on Sunday, the NFL decided that DiSandro was not permitted to remain on the sidelines at AT&T Stadium following a game against the Eagles.

DiSandro’s absence from the sidelines may extend beyond a single game because, according to a league source, the NFL office is currently reviewing the situation. Nevertheless, there is no suspension involved.

Other than that, DiSandro will carry out his regular responsibilities, which include consulting with security, medical, and operational staff before to the game. Additionally, he will supervise Eagles security during the

The Eagles said in a statement on Saturday that “this is an ongoing conversation with the NFL and we will respect the restriction that is currently in place.” Dom will continue to play for the team in all other ways even though he won’t be on the field on Sunday.

After getting into a fight with Greenlaw during the third quarter of the Eagles’ game against the 49ers, DiSandro was sent off. He assisted in separating Greenlaw and Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith following Greenlaw’s body-slam tackle of Smith on the sideline close to DiSandro.

Greenlaw was fined $10,927 by the NFL for body-slamming Smith; he was also removed from the game. His altercation with DiSandro doesn’t seem to be the subject of any more punishment.

We can’t show this part of the story.

Coach Nick Sirianni of the Eagles stated on Monday that Dom is the best there is in this field.

I’m quite appreciative of him. It’s in his nature to try to diffuse tensions in every scenario. He acts in that manner. That is his responsibility. Thus, it was undoubtedly a bad Sunday.

I’m sure Dom was sincerely attempting to diffuse the situation there. I find it unfortunate that anyone was eliminated from the game at all.

What was on stage was the play. There were many feelings present. That’s what Dom does; I’ve seen him do it in situations where he’s had to diffuse tension.

I am aware of Dom’s true motivation, which is to diffuse the tension and put an end to the events occurring on the sidelines.

Greenlaw announced on Wednesday that he had spoken with DiSandro through a middleman and cleared the air.

Reporters were told by Greenlaw that he appeared to be a real individual. He gave off the impression of being a building full of love. I detest that it even got to that point and escalated.

Every team in the NFL received a memo on Wednesday from the league reminding them that non-player employees are not allowed to make unwarranted physical contact with opponents, refer to them in an abusive, threatening, or derogatory manner, or use offensive gestures or words directed at league representatives or opponents.

On Sunday, the Eagles will play the Dallas Cowboys. Come watch Gameday Central, live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as Eagles beat reporters Olivia Reiner and EJ Smith break down the most intriguing stories surrounding the club.
