Jaylen Warren of the Steelers wins his appeal against the NFL

The league gave the Pittsburgh Steelers a sizable sum of money back.

Pittsburgh — The $48,556 fine imposed on Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren by the NFL has been revoked. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports that the second-year back and his agent successfully challenged the fine.

The NFL punished Warren severely over several weeks, collecting almost $90,000 in fines for two instances of needless roughness that resulted from Warren dropping his helmet. He was not reported for any of the in-game $48,556 fines.

In light of the fact that the fine was almost equal to his game check, Warren remarked when it was announced that he was playing for the “love of the game.”. The undrafted free agent signing will now receive his game check back and may also be able to have his second fine waived.

Warren has led the Steelers in the team’s fines, which total more than $400,000. He was the NFL player with the second-highest fines this season before his appeal was successful.
