Breaking News: The Return Of…

When is Onana expected to make a comeback?

The return date of Andre Onana to Manchester United has been announced by Erik ten Hag.

Although the Cameroon goalkeeper was absent due to the Africa Cup of Nations, he participated in our most recent Premier League match, a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford against Tottenham.

After his nation lost to Nigeria in the knockout stage, Onana will be available once more. Altay Bayindir took over in goal for the 4-2 victory at Newport County in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round.

Andre did not play in his nation’s 2-0 loss at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium as a substitute.

Regarding the goalkeeping issue, Ten Hag stated, “I think it was a composed debut [by Bayindir]” during his post-match press conference at Rodney Parade. “Very calm, some great saves. Overall, I believe he can be content.

“I thought he did a good job.

“On Thursday, André Onana will return.

“Maybe, for the first time, as long as I was manager, I could pick a team from the squad that is probably the strongest here.”

On Thursday night, the first day of the upcoming month, the Wolves will be the opponents, with a 20:15 GMT kickoff at Molineux.

Sunday’s FA Cup match saw Gary O’Neil’s team defeat local rivals West Brom 2-0, extending their stellar run of play.
