His time with us came to an end in the summer of 2022, when the 28-year-old left Leeds to join Pep Guardiola’s team.
A former academy player who appeared in 234 games for us. one of Elland Road’s favorites.

Though, in retrospect, he might have, he was obviously never going to turn down the opportunity to play for the Premier League champions.
Despite his impressive collection of medals, Phillips’s career has not been successful.
Champions League winners, Premier League winners, and Club World Cup winners.
With any luck, he can now return to his peak, play a lot of games before Euro 2024, and secure a starting position for Gareth Southgate.
