An FA Cup match saw a Maidstone fan fall on the home fans, prompting an investigation by Ipswich Town.
After it looked that a Maidstone United fan had fallen on opposing fans during an FA Cup match
Ipswich Town announced that it is looking into the incident.
In one video, which has received over a million views on Tiktok, away supporters can be seen celebrating after Maidstone wins 1-0 at Portman Road.
Then a man dressed in yellow from the upper tier rolls onto a lower tier’s canopy and descends to the audience at home below.
There are stewards assembling at the scene of his fall.
A witness said they swiftly helped the man up and escorted him away.
Although there were no major injuries reported, one Ipswich fan complained of back pain.
‘Bring on’ the fifth round, the Maidstone boss exclaims, toasting the magic of the FA Cup.
The man allegedly fell over three rows of people and into the stairway if he had fallen farther to the left.
“An incident involving a Maidstone United supporter in the Cobbold Stand at Portman Road during the Emirates FA Cup fourth-round fixture is known to the club,” Ipswich Town FC stated.
“The club is looking into the matter in great detail.”
It stated that individuals impacted will be notified and updated on the outcome.
On the championship side Ipswich lost shockingly on Saturday afternoon, 2-1. Four leagues below them, Maidstone, eliminated them from the FA Cup competition.
