Ipswich Town have now ‘agreed’ a deal to sign attackers also wanted by Leeds United.
On the verge of arriving on loan from Burnley is Connor Roberts; also, it appears that two central defenders, Harry Souttar and Joe Worrall, are being considered.
It’s unclear if Leeds will have enough time to add another attacker, but Kieffer Moore of Bournemouth will not be moving to Elland Road.
After overcoming several Championship teams, Ipswich Town has now agreed to recruit him on loan for the remainder of the season, according to talkSPORT writer Alex Crook.
Moore’s deal was agreed to by Ipswich.
Ipswich was thought to be Moore’s most likely destination earlier in the day, and it looks like they’ve found their man.
Moore is not the only striker Leeds has been connected to during the transfer season; AFC Wimbledon’s Ali Al-Hamadi recently joined Ipswich, who are also expected to be promoted automatically.
Considering Leeds only learned of Moore’s predicament at the start of last month, it does not seem as though their interest in him ever truly took off.
After debating whether or not to loan him out, Bournemouth elected to do so, and his arrival will give Ipswich access to a proven marksman at this level.
Luckily for Leeds, Patrick Bamford has been playing well since the start of the new year, so there hasn’t really been a pressing need for a new striker.
