Shocking: Cowboys fans will be surprised by the change that Ezekiel Elliott makes.

There is always a lot of talk about the Dallas Cowboys. This offseason, that is one thing that remained the same. The franchise is in limbo because to the impending contract extensions involving Micah Parsons, Dak Prescott, and CeeDee Lamb.

Cowboys supporters were also alarmed by the team’s lack of moves in free agency. When RB Ezekiel Elliott was signed by owner Jerry Jones on April 29, one year after leaving Dallas, the fan base was soothed.

Ezekiel Elliott Will Be Changing for the 2024 Season, According to Cowboys News

Elliott had intended to wear No. 21 upon his return to Dallas, but in the NFL, things can change quickly.

Patrick Walker claims that Elliott chose to change things up after beginning his offseason workout regimen with the iconic No. 21. For his next assignment in Dallas, he will don the No. 15 jersey.

Trey Lance, who previously wore a number 15, will now switch to a number 19.

During his time as a student at Ohio State University, Elliott wore number 15. He amassed 3,961 rushing yards and 43 rushing touchdowns in his three years with the Buckeyes, including back-to-back seasons with 1,800+ rushing yards.

The Cowboys supporters will have to purchase new jerseys in order to acquire No. 15 with Elliott on the back as he returns to Dallas.

Zeke wants to give the offense a big boost ahead of an important season. Simply put, he won’t look like the Cowboys are used to.
