Sad News: Crystal Palace Defender In Critical State Prior…

Ahead of Crystal Palace’s match against Sheffield United, manager Roy Hodgson updates the injury status of Michael Olise.

Roy Hodgson, the manager of Crystal Palace, has declared that Michael Olise is fit to play against Sheffield United in the Premier League tomorrow.

After missing the previous three games due to a hamstring injury, the 22-year-old was hurt in the 3-1 victory against Brentford prior to the new year.

In nine appearances this season, he has scored five goals.

“He’s available; he’s trained now,” the French boy affirmed to Hodgson.

We’ll see. Obviously, we need to exercise prudence, and those in the field of sports science are advising it.

We will need to keep an eye on it because it has been a while since he last played a game, but he feels OK, so I don’t have any concerns.

Ironically, the state of injuries is actually rather good.

The situation is very different from what it was a few weeks ago.

The only players we are unable to rely upon are Cheick Doucoure and Rob Holding, who both underwent procedures.

Joel Ward is still a ways off from being fully fit, but he is getting there, so it won’t be long until he returns either.

“With just those three players out at this point in the season, it’s pretty good.”
