The reason Dan Pitcher stayed in Cincinnati was largely due to Joe Burrow.
With players like Tee Higgins, Joe Mixon, Brian Callahan, Joe Burrow, Taylor, and Ja’Marr Chase, among others, the Cincinnati Bengals have had a strong offensive unit in recent years.
Brian Callahan will take over as head coach of the Titans in Nashville following that victory, marking the start of the official Zac Taylor coaching branch.
Following Callahan’s departure, Dan Pitcher joins the Cincinnati Bengals as their new offensive coordinator.
In recent years, Pitcher has served as the quarterback’s coach, propelling Burrow to the NFL’s top division.
Pitcher talked about the advice he received during the opening press conference when he was asked about going back with Burrow.
Many respected professionals in this field have contacted me with insightful advice, and virtually without exception, they advise hanging on to an exceptional quarterback for as long as possible. And here it is, for our reference.
Pitcher and Burrow’s bond extends far beyond the game of football. Pitcher went on to explain, “Not only is he an elite player, but I’ve gotten to know him so well as a person,” during the press conference.
He is a unique individual. He is unique. Not many people are made like him.
Now that he is working with the entire offense every day, the pitcher will get to continue developing that bond.
