Just In: Burnley Top Player Is Being Loaned To….

Hull City, Leeds United, and Southampton are interested in Manuel Benson’s recent transfer.

Amidst persistent interest from other Championship clubs, Hull City’s hopes of finalizing an agreement to sign Burnley winger Manuel Benson are dwindling.

The Belgian winger will join City on a loan deal until the end of the season, according to a verbal agreement struck at the start of the month between Burnley and City.

The player will ultimately make the final decision and was eager to consider his alternatives as the month progressed.

Not only has Benson attracted the attention of Liam Rosenior, but Southampton, Leeds United, Ipswich Town, and Birmingham City have also expressed interest in the 26-year-old.

Despite expectations that Wilfried Gnonto will sign a new contract at Elland Road following early reports that the Italian international would be departing and Benson joining as a replacement, reports in Belgium indicate the Tigers’ Yorkshire rivals are in the lead.

Benson has only played in 12 minutes of Premier League action after starting in three of Burnley’s first five games.

He was on the bench for the team’s most recent draw at home against Luton Town, and Vincent Kompany has told him he can leave Turf Moor in search of regular playing time.

The club is believed to have moved on to other targets, but City’s bid is still on the table.

Movement is anticipated in the last days before the window closes at 11 p.m. on Thursday of next week.

Rosenior has also looked at Benson’s Claret Anass Zaroury, but as of right now, that deal appears challenging.

In the coming days, Rosenior, Acun Ilicali, and Tan Kesler will keep trying to add additional offensive players, but some business may come down to the last few hours.
