Just In: Burnley Loses To Sign Best Attacker Due To…

The 19-year-old attacker is being watched by several teams, including Middlesbrough and Burnley.

In the summer of this year, Middlesbrough added three new players.

Luke Thomas and Luke Ayling, two full-backs, have signed on loan from Aston Villa, and Finn Azaz, an offensive midfielder, has secured a permanent agreement after making an impressive loan move to Championship rival Plymouth Argyle.

Since Thursday is the deadline, Boro doesn’t have much time to complete any business.

But time is of the essence; therefore, they may not be finished yet.

Middlesbrough is one of the many teams that like Scottish talent Joe Bevan, who plays for Albion Rovers in the Scottish Lowland League, according to the Daily Record.

The 19-year-old has been observed by elite clubs in Scotland and England, and Burnley is prepared to move to guarantee they get his signing.

Bevan joined Albion Rovers in January 2023 and has since played on the wings and as a striker, scoring 14 goals in 42 games.

One for later on?

Bevan appears to be a promising future talent, as seen by the increased interest in him.

In addition to bringing in new players for the first team, Middlesbrough is constantly seeking to develop its prospects so that they can eventually play for Michael Carrick’s senior team.

Bevan might go down that path, but he appears to have a lot of attention from teams like Burnley.

At just 19, he has already demonstrated, albeit at a low level, that he can make an impression on the senior stage, which can only be positive.

However, Burnley appears to be getting ready to move, so it could be wise for Middlesbrough and any other supporters of the Scottish option to act quickly in order to prevent losing out.
