Breaking news: After the Lakers win, LeBron James brashly dashes into the locker room to watch…

Although LeBron James contributed to the Los Angeles Lakers’ 127–110 victory against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night, he was much more enthusiastic to witness his son Bronny’s USC game against Arizona.

Though James has been to a few games this season, the Lakers star had to watch the USC game on television since it was held in Tucson, Arizona, on Wednesday night.

James was seen racing to the locker room immediately after the victory, informing spectators that he had to go watch his son’s game, according to a video that Lauren Jones of The Sporting Tribune was able to catch.

James said, “I have to head over to my son’s game real quick.”

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant, another NBA player who is close to James, was there at the game. He watched the much-awaited Pac-12 match from courtside.

Just his second start for the Trojans, the youthful James, a freshman at USC, made his first one last Saturday. After hitting zero field goals during his first start, he struggled, but on Wednesday he improved, leading the club with six assists and scoring 11 points. The Wildcats defeated the Trojans 82–67.

This season, USC hasn’t played well, but Bronny has suddenly looked terrific. In the backcourt, he is now a starter for the Trojans and has shown glimpses of his superstar potential. As a loving father, LeBron always tries to see his kids play, and this evening was no exception with the Lakers game starting early. He even carried on watching the game in the locker room throughout the news conference.

James was recuperating from a heart collapse he had during a practice in July, so he began his rookie season later than expected.
