Lashley said, “I was beyond disappointed. I’m not gonna say pessimistic disappointed, because I am a kind of chill person. And the thing that disappoints me the most is all the work that I put in, you know. We have live events throughout the year.
I’m on all of them. Every one of the pay-per-views. We had some mix ups and change ups. And then next, you know, I’m pulled off the biggest show.
And then that very night, on the first day, my kids gave me a call. And kids ask, “Hey Dad, will you be joining us?” Because if I was going to be out, I would have just flown them straight in. They were dealing with some issues.
Then the following day arrives, and I witness a variety of errors. You know, just arbitrary individuals barging in. It was arguably the lowest period of my career, in my opinion. And I feel like I could use a change right now.
I needed some atonement for that, so I kind of adopted a more heel tactic there for a time. And I desired to remove.
A few of these men. During my brief leave of absence, I kept my mouth shut regarding the company.
I never attempted to destroy the business.
After doing some freelance job and simply receiving various work rates and dealing with various people, I returned. We’re still moving forward despite my success in other businesses, my return, and the hardships I had to endure to have another opportunity at a world title. I’m trying to concentrate my attention on this wonderful chance I have right now. And I want to defend my global crown once more. I’m in excellent shape and will put in a lot of work.
I’m assembling a group. I collaborate with others when I have suitable matches.
I’m building a team. I work with other people having good matches when I have an opportunity to have matches. But um, I think that I should and could have another good title run.
