With Just Two Games Left Is Browns QB Justin Fields Still….

Bears QB Justin Fields ‘not really’ concerned with future, focused on Falcons

Fields may play his final two games of the season with the Bears, who are expected to select first overall in the draft.

Bears quarterback Justin Fields is aware these last two games against the Falcons and Packers could be his last with the team, but he doesn’t spend much time thinking about his uncertain future.

”No, not really,” he said on Wednesday.” I’m focused on Sunday and playing this Atlanta team. They have a good defense.

“I’ve got too much to focus on today to worry about tomorrow,” Fields replied. “I have to be concerned about my new play calls and gameplan. As I usually say, there’s no use worrying about tomorrow because we don’t know if we’ll get one.”

Head coach Matt Eberflus said he talks to Fields “in a general sense, just in terms of the position, you know, being an NFL quarterback. You’re always going to get that. So you got to keep your eyes forward and your feet where they are, and he does that. I commend him for that. You’ve gotta be strong to do that.”

Eberflus also mentioned Fields’ recent game-day adjustments to the quantity of interceptions and sacks he has taken. Since Fields’ injured comeback five games ago, both statistical categories have essentially been slashed in half, coinciding with a conversation between Fields and Eberflus.
