SAD NEWS As Cleveland Browns Suddenly Lose Quarterback For The Season

Throughout 2023, the Cleveland Browns have sustained numerous injuries. The team’s offence has been severely harmed by the season-ending injuries to running back Nick Chubb and quarterback Deshaun Watson. The quarterback position for the Browns has now sustained yet another season-ending injury that could cost them in the postseason.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson, the quarterback, sustained a hip injury in Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. As a result, the team has placed him on injured reserve for the remainder of the season. After the team jumped out to a commanding lead in the second half of the game, Thompson-Robinson entered the game in place of Joe Flacco. However, he was forced to leave due to an injury.

The quarterback has already sustained other injuries this season. In week twelve, late in the third quarter of the Denver Broncos game, he sustained a head injury. As a result of Thompson-Robinson being placed on injured reserve, P.J. Walker, Flacco’s backup, will be signed to the active roster from the practice squad.

The backup quarterback has started in eight games for Cleveland this season before the team brought in Flacco, who has solidified himself as the starter for the rest of the year barring an injury to him. Thompson-Robinson has amounted to 440 passing yards, a touchdown, and four interceptions. He has not performed well but has won four out of five games he has played in this season.
