After his aborted transfer from Leeds United to Goodison Park, Willy Gnonto is prepared to change agents.
Willy Gnonto, a forward for Leeds United, is reportedly thinking about switching agents after his summer transfer to Everton fell through, according The Athletic.
The news agency stated on its website on Thursday, December 21st, that the Whites had previously prevented the Italian international from moving to Goodison Park, raising doubts about his ability to depart Elland Road in January.
But it added that Leeds, who regard the forward as “phenomenal”, have considered offering the 19-year-old an improved deal if he is willing to commit his future to the club as the January transfer window approaches.
t doesn’t come as much of a surprise to hear that Gnonto is considering switching his agent after the saga that unfolded following his failed move to Everton over the summer.
The forward, who has been forced to settle for a place on the bench over the past couple of months at Elland Road, was extremely keen to join the Toffees, but Leeds were determined to keep hold of him and refused to even consider letting him leave.
That led to the Italian downing tools and refusing to play for the Whites, a decision that probably wouldn’t have impressed Blues boss Sean Dyche.
