Sad News: Sinner’s hip Injury Disrupts French Open Preparations due to…

The worst conceivable timing for Jannik Sinner’s hip injury occurred, and he acknowledged that it would affect Roland Garros in some way.

Grand Slams are played just four times a year, meaning they are not played every day. Because of this, which makes them extremely unique, most players concentrate mostly on those four tournaments, at least at that time of year.

Since the Roland Garros is the next Grand Slam and it’s quite near, Sinner’s recent injury is concerning. It’s already terrible enough that he had to withdraw from the Italian Open, and it’s going to get worse before Roland Garros.

Sinner stated as much during the news conference that followed his announcement of his withdrawal from the Rome ATP Masters 1000.

He didn’t really appear to care about it, so it’s probably not terrible enough to keep him out of the French Open. However, it will drastically hamper his preparation, meaning he won’t be playing as many matches as he anticipated before the event.

That’s obviously not ideal and will affect him during the tournament, but it doesn’t necessarily indicate that it will also affect his performance. It lessens the likelihood that he would win the competition, but it doesn’t guarantee it.

He’s one of the greatest players in the world after all, and he can manipulate the situation to suit him. Though what transpires in the upcoming weeks is yet unknown, he undoubtedly would have preferred to avoid this injury.
