From Opening Day until April 30, the 25-year-old right-hander appeared in 11 games and recorded a 1.35 ERA while striking out 28 of the 51 batters he faced in 13 1/3 innings. From April 9 to April 30, he recorded a save in eight consecutive games, tying for sixth place in the MLB. This season, Miller’s most amazing stats have appeared on the radar gun. Nine of the ten fastest pitches this MLB season have come from him, and he hurled a league-best 94 pitches at 100 mph or more.So far in 2024, Miller has been the face of an A’s bullpen that has been doing admirably.
