Utah Utes’ Standout Safety Cole Bishop Drafted by Buffalo Bills at No. 60, Ready to Bring Leadership and Physicality to NFL

Cole Bishop is going to the NFL after an outstanding career with the Utah Utes.

The Buffalo Bills named the former Utes safety’s number sixty.

During the pre-draft process, Bishop received a ton of acclaim and was even considered for a first-round selection. Bishop recorded 197 total tackles, 21.5 tackles for a loss, 7.5 sacks, and three interceptions while playing at Utah.

The Bills are getting a very physically strong safety in Bishop who isn’t scared to tackle. He will get an opportunity to establish himself in the NFL after serving as an excellent leader for the Utes the previous several seasons. Bishop will also get to see former Ute Dalton Kincaid again.
