Alabama Crimson Tide Snaps Losing Streak with 4-3 Victory Over Arkansas Razorbacks in Thrilling Baseball Matchup

In Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the 25th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team ended their five-game losing streak by defeating the top-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks 4-3 at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

The game saw the first four runs scored on solo home runs. Alabama took the lead with homers from Will Hodo in the second inning and Gage Miller in the third, countered by Arkansas’ Peyton Stovall in the fifth and Jared Sprague-Lott in the sixth.

In the eighth inning, Alabama’s TJ McCants hit an RBI double, regaining the lead, but Arkansas’ Peyton Holt tied the game with a two-out solo homer in the ninth.

The decisive moment came in the tenth inning when Alabama capitalized on a leadoff double by Kade Snell. McCants reached base on an error by Arkansas pitcher Jake Faherty, allowing Mason Swinney to score as Faherty’s throw went awry at first base.

On the mound for Alabama, senior Greg Farone started and pitched five innings, conceding one earned run on four hits while striking out three. Tyler Fay and Alton Davis II provided relief appearances.

Arkansas’ Mason Molina started, pitching six innings and giving up two earned runs on five hits with six strikeouts. Christian Foutch, Stowe Hewlett, Gage Wood, and Jake Faherty also made appearances from the bullpen.
